Local Lodge 218 News  Proposed Bylaw Change11/4/2008In order to bring L.L. 218 into standard with the G.L. convention, a bylaw change regarding our dues structure must be ratified by January 1st. The Executive Board has drawn up an amendment which states: Article IV - Fees & Dues Section 1. (c)Effective January 1, 2009, the minimum monthly dues of this Lodge shall be two (2) hours pay plus $10.50 per month (includes Grand Lodge per capita tax), or $3.00 over all per capita tax paid by this Local Lodge, whichever is greater. Effective January 1, 2011, the minimum monthly dues of this Lodge shall be two (2) hours pay plus $17.50 per month (includes Grand Lodge per capita tax), or $3.00 over all per capita tax paid by this Local Lodge, whichever is greater. Any future increase in any per capita taxes will immediately and automatically result in an increase in dues by an equal amount. This amendment will be presented at the postponed November meeting (December 15th at 3:30pm) and then voted on during the regular December meeting scheduled that same day. |
